Mara Behrens has more than 15 years of experience in graphic design. She began her career as Art Director of Men's Health and Harper's Bazaar Latin America, quickly moving into the Creative Director position at Editorial Televisa, which published both titles and is one of the largest editorial houses in the Spanish-speaking world.

Mara moved to NYC, where she first dipped her toes into interactive design, working for Radical Media and Venaca in different interactive and online design projects. She has since worked for clients like the Smithsonian and Guggenheim Museums, the Mexican Cultural Institute in NY and Stanford University's Knight Fellowship, offering solutions for their visual needs in diverse platforms.

Mara is a strong believer in the power design has to engage, captivate and seduce users. She has practiced design thinking and is a passionate student of aesthetics and visual communication.

In her free time she loves to travel and learn about other cultures. She loves art and playing anything with her two boys.
